Temple Fork Outfitters Trout-Panfish Series Spinning Rods - EOL

$109.95

Reported by
Pierce Knarr

Green Lake (WI) (WI)

Pierce Knarr reported catching Panfish / Bluegill using the Bobbers technique and Temple Fork Outfitters Trout-Panfish Series Spinning Rods - EOL on Green Lake (WI). Additional comments from this report: "Bluegills are starting to get on their beds in 7-12 feet. Using side imaging to find where they are located makes this process very easy. Pitch out a slip bobber with a small jig is the best way to catch these. We released all of our bluegills so more 10” fish can grow like the one showed!!!!"

SoMo Fish Co

Lake Taneycomo (MO)

SoMo Fish Co reported catching Trout using the Bobbers technique and Temple Fork Outfitters Trout-Panfish Series Spinning Rods - EOL on Lake Taneycomo. Additional comments from this report: "Zero generation and high skies. We caught all our fish under a float. We caught them on everything from small hair jigs to pink power worms on 1/100 oz jig heads. Just bounce around until you find them. When you get in front of them it typically does not take long to get a bite. The big fish of the day was the one pictured a 21 1/4 inch rainbow that was released to be caught another day 👍"

St. Croix Premier Spinning Rods - EOL

$150.00 – $170.00

Kail’s Fishing Reports

Lake Martha (MN)

great early season Crappie Lake, on the south side there is a channel, fish in and around it.. Tip your jig with a crappie minnow, or gulp, set the bobber stop to about 2'. Start at the entrance to the channel and start working your way in tell you find the school or fish. I like the Pro series Thill bobbers that are weighted, it takes less pressure to pull them down and they cast like a rocket. Crappies always feed at there level or up, stay above the fish.

Mid-Sota Media & Guide Service

Pokegama Lake (4) (MN)

Mid-Sota Media & Guide Service reported catching Crappie using the Bobbers technique and ACC Crappie Stix Green Series Dock Shooting Spinning Rods on Pokegama Lake (4). Additional comments from this report: "Ice out Crappies are so fun when you locate them. We first made a sweep of the lake using side imaging looking for any remaining green weeds. This lake in particular had no weed growth so we started working the bottom edge of the break-line. We located a school of crappie using Side imaging then went to work using forward facing sonar. The fish were a little lethargic to where we had to switch to light jigs, minnows, and a rocket bobber set up. The best technique was to cast upwind of the school and let your jig/minnow drift over top of the school letting the waves do the work. A key part in detecting the bite was by using a light jig (1/32oz) no added split shot weight. This light set up would let the rocket bobber lay on its side. When a crappie hit the presentation they would stand the bobber up indicating he was there. Open water season is here! "

Keith Mccullough

Broken Bow Lake (OK)

Keith Mccullough reported catching Crappie using the Bobbers technique and ACC Crappie Stix Green Series Dock Shooting Spinning Rods on Broken Bow Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Find rocky banks in back off coves where crappie would be spawning and start with your bobber depth around 6ft and start to figure out how deep you need your jig to be. You will have to move your bobber up and down to figure out the right depth. You can throw it out and let it just set or you can pop and reel the bobber back in super slow. Also if you see any buck brush in the water be sure to cast around it because the crappie love to spawn around it as well. "
