Kermit Parsons
Lake Of The Ozarks (MO)
Kermit Parsons reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Umbrella Rigs technique and Dobyns Rods Fury Casting Rods on Lake Of The Ozarks. Additional comments from this report: "Finished out my 13.5lb limit with the a-rig on brush piles. I would slow roll the a-rig over the top of the pile and hang on because the fish were smoking it. I also caught some just fishing a bank that looked right with a little bit of a mud line. Kept the bait just under the surface because it was shallow and slow rolled it just parallel to the dingy water that was stirred up from some wind. Caught 4 keepers with a couple culls doing this in a short amount of time. I put two 1/8 oz heads on the bottom wires of the rig and one 1/16 oz on the middle wire. I think this helps to get the bait to spin to the right orientation in the water quicker. Also you can run one different color swimbait to draw more bites but I would put it on the center wire which always has a hook. "
