Additional comments from this report: "Fish shallow points with exposed rock points alternating between burning and slow rolling. Jointed swim-baits work well glides should do the same but upgraded hooks are a must "

Reported by
Toolman Tim

Lake Norman (NC)

Toolman Tim reported catching Spotted Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Dobyns Rods Champion XP Swimbait Rods on Lake Norman. Additional comments from this report: "Found schools of spots feeding on top and threw everything I could think of and finally they bit the chad shad"

Reported by
CJ Peterson

Table Rock Lake (AR, MO)

CJ Peterson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Dobyns Rods Champion XP Swimbait Rods on Table Rock Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Fished main lake pockets with wood in them. Bigger class fish would come out of those piles to check out the swimbait. Tricking them with small twitches seem to entice them to close the distance on the bait. Several missed opportunities and should have kept it in my hand all day! "

Lew's Pro-Ti Speed Stick Casting Rods

$269.99

Reported by
Gentry Fishing

Lake Of The Ozarks (MO)

Gentry Fishing reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Lew's Pro-Ti Speed Stick Casting Rods on Lake Of The Ozarks. Additional comments from this report: "Mainly fished in the Linn Creek area of the lake. Caught several on the dogma topwater walking bait but those were mainly small keepers. Caught several on a finesse jig behind docks (may have been on beds that I couldn’t see). My better fish for the day came on the glide bait in less than 5ft of water. "

Reported by

St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rods - EOL

$150.00

Reported by
Tin Ngou

Lake Norman (NC)

Tin Ngou reported catching Spotted Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rods - EOL on Lake Norman. Additional comments from this report: "Early morning on a cloudy day on lake Norman could be the best time to catch some fish in the summer on lake Norman. Today I was fishing shallow around boulders with the bullshad. Those spotted bass were destroying it as I reel past boulders. Today I was throwing this medium size swimbait on a medium heavy st croix mojo bass rod with a shimano slx. I had 30lb braid to 20lb leader with a snap to allow bait to swim freely. I was just burning this bait across the top of boulders in shallow water. The water was very clear like usual on lake Norman today. Most fishing in less than 5 ft of water."
