St. Croix Victory Spinning Rods
$190.00 – $210.00
Reported by
Trevor Ives
Long Lake (WI)
Trevor Ives reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Finesse Hair Jigs technique and St. Croix Victory Spinning Rods on Long Lake . Additional comments from this report: "Fish were sitting on the first break waiting to move up shallow. Most fish came at 10-12 feet of water. A slow straight retrieve with a marabou hair jig was the bite getter. "
Reported by
Ben Korhonen
Lake Vermilion (MN)
Ben Korhonen reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Finesse Hair Jigs technique and St. Croix Victory Spinning Rods on Lake Vermilion. Additional comments from this report: "The bite was better shallow although there was some fish deep on offshore humps. The key to the shallow bite was moving baits so you didn’t get hung up in the rocks. The hair jig seemed to work pretty good since you could still fish it pretty slow on a straight retrieve and not get hung up and it produced some quality bites. Other baits like top water and spinnerbaits worked well too. "

Keuka Lake (NY)

Reported by
Dylan Sluis
Leech Lake (MN)
Dylan Sluis reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Finesse Hair Jigs technique and Daiwa Tatula Elite Spinning Rods on Leech Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Smashing postspawn smallmouth up shallow. Lots of them and a couple with decent size. That rod below is an absolute killer hair jig rod. So if you want to throw hair jigs make sure you have it. Other than that the feider fly is amazing and I always tip it with a tiny chunk of maxscent"

SoMo Fish Co reported catching Trout using the Finesse Hair Jigs technique and Temple Fork Outfitters Trout-Panfish Series Spinning Rods - EOL on Lake Taneycomo. Additional comments from this report: "Spent the afternoon in the trophy area on Taneycomo. It was the first day with only a 1/2 unit running and the fishing was good and the size was great. We caught multiple fish in the 17-19” range and a beautiful 22 1/4” rainbow. All fish were caught on a scud and size didn’t really seem to matter it was all about getting the drift right. Caught them on mostly light gray tied on a hayabusa 384 fly size 14 and 16. Get out and enjoy the resource! See you on the water! SoMo Fish Co 417-838-3122"
