Chenchar Lee (CX ANGLING) reported catching Crappie using the Spoons technique and Daiwa Zillion SV TW Casting Reel on Boyd Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Target the Marina dock slips. Crappies were suspended in 30ft of water anywhere from 5-20ft. With the Jigging spoon, rip it hard and let it free fall until it picks up all the slack. Only allow 1-3 seconds for it to sit still, you will get bit either on the fall or the pause. Tightlines! "

Ohio Angler reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Spoons technique and Daiwa Zillion SV TW Casting Reel on Alum Creek Reservoir. Additional comments from this report: "The bass are starting their fall feeding. I was able to find some schools of bass in moderately deep water. You have to let the spoon flutter all the way to the bottom with a semi slack line. once on the bottom, give the line two quick jerks and let it flutter back down."
