Additional comments from this report: "Late season stuff here, very cold water, have to do 5+ second pauses. Fish were located 7-10 feet down with access to deep water nearby. Also don’t worry about getting out early, fish 11am-3pm fish aren’t active or moving up to feed until later in the day as it warms up! "

I only got two bites in quick succession just before I called it a night. They wanted the Rap moving at a moderately slow pace with no pauses. Both eyes were just under 20”."

The jerkbait was straight up getting bit.6-10 feet of water was the best depth for me"

Additional comments from this report: "The warm weather had smallies moving shallow. We caught them on jerkbaits in 2-8 fow on flats with boulders and scattered rock. Megabass Vision 110s in French Pearl and GG Kincuro were the ticket when the wind blew. When it was calm, an Outkast Perfect Ned with a Z-man TRD Tickler mopped em up. My son caught his PB smallie (5.4 lbs!) On the Ned."

Additional comments from this report: "Caught about 8 of them on the Rerange 110 at the very tip of a point in about 14’ that immediately dropped into deeper water. Longer pauses between rod twitches were the key. Working the jerkbait too erratically did not seem to get them to react. Slow-playing the lure got me most of my bites today. "
