Brent Bailar
Lake Anita (IA)
Brent Bailar reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and PowerPro Spectra Braid on Lake Anita. Additional comments from this report: "Had success catching fish up to 16 inches on top water, both the 6th Sense Speed Wake and a Booyah Pad Crasher off points close to shore. We fished sunrise immediately after a rain storm so the clouds and rain keep the top water bite good for 3 hours. Success up to 17.5" throwing a bladed jig through the dying grass and ripping it threw. They seemed to hit it most when you felt like you were hung and had to rip it through. This is on a wind blown shoreline."

Additional comments from this report: "I fished the 168 s-waver for 2 hrs over brush piles, and finally caught a 4 pounder. Swimbait fishing is a great bite that takes patience, but it's fun"
Reported by
Matthew Mattingly
Green River Lake (KY)
Matthew Mattingly reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Green River Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Not a technique to catch many fish, but to catch some true giants the Glide is where its at! Toss this around any obvious structure, like laydowns that are still left or main lake points. You will not catch many, but the ones you will catch make it worth it. Don't be surprised at how many follow this bait all the way to the boat and even a Muskie might come out to play "
Reported by
Ben Hutchins
Lake Gaston (NC, VA)
Ben Hutchins reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Sunline Super FC Sniper on Lake Gaston. Additional comments from this report: "Caught bass throwing a glide bait around docks."

Reported by
Dick Majewski
Lake Winnebago (WI)
Dick Majewski reported catching Northern Pike using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Lake Winnebago. Additional comments from this report: "Slow retrieve in shallow moving water near points. Ice melted during the warmer weather which made it easy to access open water from shore."
Reported by
Brayden Klinksick
Stockton Lake
Brayden Klinksick reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Stockton Lake. Additional comments from this report: "This spring from the point the water hit 47 degrees I have been catching tons of fish on the glide and losing my definite PB smallie. There are key areas throughout the lake where they have been eating the glide better than others. The best spots to throw the glide have been steep rocky banks, shallower bluffs, and long tapering points. The north side of the lake is extremely clear meaning the drawing power of the glide is very high. You may not catch every fish on the glide, but with the proper follow-up bait, you can convert a lot of followers into catches. (6in green pumpkin stickbait) Don't be afraid of the glide, and you'll likely break your PB."
Reported by
Nicholas Robinson
Occoquan Reservoir (VA)
Nicholas Robinson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Hard Body Swimbaits technique and Seaguar InvizX 100% Fluorocarbon on Occoquan Reservoir. Additional comments from this report: "Working an S-Waver quickly over shallow points and bluff walls on a quick outing. Single fish smashed it off of the wall on the pause. The new Bantam is solid and feels great for big baits and heavier duty applications. "
