Brandon Garrett
Lake Washington (6) (MN)
Brandon Garrett reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Grass Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Lake Washington (6). Additional comments from this report: "Largemouth bass can be found in Washington in very good size. While other guys were working on those bedding smallmouth bass in 5 feet of water, I found largemouth bass by skipping and pitching jigs under docks and into the pencil reeds. I've had the occasional smallmouth catch on those reeds too. I found bigger green fish were on the docks, though. You can also get quality largemouth here skipping senkos under the docks or into the reeds. "

Cody Nielsen
Lake Carlos (MN)
Cody Nielsen reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Grass Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Lake Carlos. Additional comments from this report: "Used a chatterbait and swim jig on weed edges to locate fish. Found groups of larger fish schooled up in milfoil patches. Classic flipping baits worked well, with most fish coming on a stealth feider jig and a 3/8oz weighted tokyo rig with a craw tube trailer. Having multiple rigs at the ready was key to getting multiple bites. "

Seth Akenson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Grass Jigs technique and Sufix 832 Braid on Lower Prior Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Bass could be found on deep weedlines adjacent to bluegill. We caught most bass pulling jigs through the vegetation and pausing. Be patient and work baits slow. Throwing heavier jigs will also allow you to cast farther and maintain bottom contact in windy conditions "
