Additional comments from this report: "As the the summer comes to an end and fall is fast approaching. The late evening bite will begin to pick up a couple of hours before sunset. Be on the look out for surface action, that indicates that bass are feeding at the surface and just below the surface. This can produce a lot of bass in a short amount of time. I like to keep a couple of different setups ready. Jerkbait, lipless crankbait, umbrella rig, and some type of topwater lure usually a strike king kvd sexy dawg jr. "

Also caught a bunch of Largies in the slop on spro black popper frogs. (A decent amount of 3s and a bunch of 2s). Caught a few on a spook by rip rap aswel."
