Seth Akenson
Lake Minnetonka (MN)
Seth Akenson reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Grass Jigs technique and Zoom Ultra-Vibe Speed Craw on Lake Minnetonka. Additional comments from this report: "Spent 5 days on tonka over the last couple of weeks and spent a lot of time trying to identify a pattern but unstable weather conditions changed how we fished daily. Water temps were 68 degrees and bass have been off beds for a while but still not in summer patters. We flipped weed edges, threw moving baits over flats adjacent to spawning areas, flipped holes in cover but the most consistent bite we found were on deep, clean docks around bluegill beds. The longer you let the bait soak, the better. Not on the website but I highly recommend the 7'1 Heavy, Fast Kage jig rod whether your skipping docks or deep weeds "
