Jeff
South Center Lake (MN)
Jeff reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Tubes technique and Strike King Coffee Tube on South Center Lake. Additional comments from this report: "There are plenty of fish on these docks. Wind was strong but the docks are manageable. Don't be discouraged by the smaller fish. There are 3 and 4+ pounders. A stupid tube and dinger did most of the damage. Dont forget to stop by the pads and pitch around. "

Howie's tubes are fantastic! They seem to be tougher and last longer then other tubes and they flat out catch smallmouth.

Reported by
Eric Scrivner
Lake Vermilion (MN)
Eric Scrivner reported catching Smallmouth Bass using the Tubes technique and Xzone Lures 3.75" X-Tube on Lake Vermilion. Additional comments from this report: "Fished the west end during the last week of July and it was a tough bite. Tube jigs on wind blown shoreline rocks were the most consistent bait but could catch smaller bass on everything finesse. Caught a few largemouth and smallmouth on whopper ploppers as well, but it wasn’t a consistent pattern. Mostly struck out with the dropshot on deeper structure like rock piles and reefs except for dozens of 8-10” smallies and a handful of walleyes from 18-24”. "

Omnia Community Member reported catching Largemouth Bass using the Tubes technique and Strike King Coffee Tube on Sweeney Lake. Additional comments from this report: "Great lake to fish. The public ramp doesn't allow trailers so make sure you canoe it or kayak without a trailer. Also make sure the homeowners that boat on the lake actually see you. A couple have not paid attention and have been very reckless in how close they get."
