Best Ned Rig Bait

A chatterbait with a goat trailer worked over the grass caught a few, but the ned rig was more successful. "

Water levels were quite low since the start of summer but it’s also helping making the vegetation easier to see from the docks. We had solid hits pitching ned rigs under and into openings in the weeds and pulled some chonky catches as twilight began.

We caught several smallmouth on shallow rock flats with Ned rigs early in the morning. After that bite died, we went to deep weed lines and caught some nice largemouth in drop shots.
