Underspins

Underspins offer an effective way to imitate small shad, herring, or other baitfish with the addition of a bite-inducing flash in the form of a whirring blade positioned beneath the head of the jig. Pair with your favorite straight-tailed or boot tailed minnow imitating soft plastics and work this setup slowly through the water column to trigger bites from finicky fish that are keyed on suspended baitfish.
