Fish were grouped up in slack water eddys feeding consistently on baits with passive action worked very slowly on hard bottoms. Passive action of the TicklerZ allowed for minute current to make them move while keeping the bait relatively still and in the strike zone longer. The recent cold front has the smallmouth in full on winter mode with water temps dropping into the high 30s.

I was fishing a current seam in 8-10 foot of water. This was creating a slack pool as it got closer to the bank. The smallies were eating it right off the bottom but, the fights were sluggish.
