Had a tough morning bite and i couldn’t get the top water going. Decided to head out of the shallows to find the deeper patches with heavy vegetation and that was the key today. Fishing anywhere from 5-9ft. Any colors with blue or purple should work good in this stained water, and don’t shy away from a bait that has a lot of moving parts to disturb the water. Overall good day quality wise. i always recommend bringing extra rigs because i always seem to get bit off by a pike at least once.

Looking around 12-16ft. Lots of fish were on drop offs so take time to scan around in the deeper parts for them. As always with stoney expect the pike to get after your baits! Definitely would recommend bringing more rigs incase you get bit off by one.
