Had a tough morning bite and i couldn’t get the top water going. Decided to head out of the shallows to find the deeper patches with heavy vegetation and that was the key today. Fishing anywhere from 5-9ft. Any colors with blue or purple should work good in this stained water, and don’t shy away from a bait that has a lot of moving parts to disturb the water. Overall good day quality wise. i always recommend bringing extra rigs because i always seem to get bit off by a pike at least once.
