I’ve not had much luck lately with my usual bladed jigs, swim jigs, etc so I’ve been focused on wacky and neko rigs. I’ve done very well the last couple weeks with both. Casting into weeds 10-15 feet deep and letting them take it. I’ve got several quality fish and it’s been a blast.

Been having really good luck lately burning a Berkeley Slobberknocker with a Beast Coast Blade Runner trailer through submerged vegetation in 10-15 feet. Seems like most people on my lake only fish the shoreline, they are missing out on a lot of quality fish by not fishing deeper. Also, big fan of the 2023 Daiwa Tatula Elite Randy Howell 7’2” Universal Spinnerbait rod as my bladed jig rod. Very sensitive for a rod at its price point. As always thank you Omnia for sponsoring the online MNKFA tournaments.
