Blueback Herring
We began our day trying to get a big limit of largemouth fishing boat docks in Elkahatchee Creek. We started with topwater lures and crankbaits to see if the fish were active; we never got a bite. As the sun began to rise more and more, the bite slowed down. By 10 o'clock, we figured out we could get a small limit with a ned rig and a drop shot. We fished almost every boat dock in Elkahatchee, and the creeks headed towards the 280 bridge. We ended up with five fish for five and a half pounds.
