April 2nd I fished a kayak tournament here at Lake Marburg. I practiced 3 times prior to the event and did not catch any bass until the day before. I caught one 12' bass on letdowns with a micro jig and a 15" on the same type of cover. Though in the tournament I did not get a bite just like 25 out of 26 anglers. It was very tough with cold clear water. I saw many muskies throughout practice and the tournament but the bass were very hard to come by with 43-48 degree water temp
