A "gem" of a twin cities lake, De Montreville offers a great opportunity to fish many different ways. I have had luck on connecting with many largemouth bass on Texas rigs here. Sunfish quantity is very high on this lake so lighter, natural colors work best. Green pumpkin yields the most fish in my experience. Explore the lake to find patches of the thickest grass, preferably near deep water. Pitching a 1/2 oz and letting bait drop to the bottom on a SLACK line will get bites. Be ware of the high northern pike population in this lake as well - many smaller "hammer handles" in my experience on this body of water.
