We are experiencing extremely warm temperatures for early November here in East Tennessee: We managed to get out for a 6 hr trip and had a great day, catching 40+ with 11 keepers. Several things lined up perfectly: the lake is dropping and had good current. With these conditions that positioned the bait and fish at easy targets around points and breaks. We caught on multiple baits, war eagle spinnerbaits slow rolled, little John crankbaits, and war eagle jigs. Boat poison and casting was critical in all techniques. #Omnia Fishing #East Tennessee Guide Service

Fishing the Tennessee River on Ft. Loudon Lake near Knoxville, TN continues to be very productive for numbers but quality fish have been hard to come by over the past few weeks. With fast falling water temps the fish seem to be scattered but the most productive areas continue to be shallow cranking and top water near or around schools of bait. The major creeks seem to be the best but occasionally find them in shallow pockets with bait. The Berkeley Choppo has been the bait of choice followed up with the Frittside shallow crank bait. We have been averaging 20-30 fish a trip on most days running shallow water throughout the day focusing on schools of shad, bait. Follow us on facebook at East Tennessee Guide Service.
