Bass were scattered across weedy flats and dropoffs all morning and afternoon. Slower steady retrieves, lift and drops, moderate retrieves with occasional shakes, and fat retrieves just below the surface all produced fish, with slow and moderate taking the biggest fish. Only the occasional pickerel showed up, so it was a good day.

Pulling worms on drop shots or jigs led to numerous hookups where we'd and rocks meet. Deeper weeds (10'+) on rocky bottoms also produced fish.
