It was very cold and very slow. The fishing was tough & bites were limited. We caught a handful of white bass on Ned & Demiki rigs a little offshore and the one largemouth off the day came on a jig off of a point in about 10 feet of water.

Lake has artificial structure in the form of rubber tire piles. Largemouth routinely use these area to ambush prey. Lake has a large amount of gizzard Shad. White non transparent lures perform well here. Water clarity is pretty poor but improves quite a bit in the winter. If your fishing jerkbaits from the bank utilize a side sweep and jerk method instead of down to help keep the bait out of the tires. Keep living that #HookLife

Went out did pretty good with some jerkbaits and finesse jigs. Make sure to hit the lay downs in deeper water next to windier points. Seems like the fish stack up there and will smash anything moving like spinner bait crankbaits and especially the jerkbait. When the wind dies down though pick up a trusty jig and stick a couple biggs on the deeper brush piles 🤟

Found a good spot on the dam of lenape. Whip that 110 across the contour line and drop off going from 8ft to 16ft right on that edge is we're you'll get bit. Slow twitches with the jerkbait 1 x 2 x 2 with 4-6 second pauses in between

Even though we are not technically in to winter yet, the water is cold and the bit is very slow. 4 hours below the spillway throwing a variety of baits yielded zero bites until I went very finesse with a TRD Crawz on a ned fished very slow. One bite yielded one bass around 1.5#

Points
Blade baits are a great way to target bass in winter as the they will congregate towards the dam. The main lake points that have a flat shelf to them are great areas to focus in on. Slowly yo-yoing the blade bait can help generate a reaction strike.
