This body of water is very stained water with very little visibility and a ton of vegetation. I was running the mayor swimbait in chartreuse pearl so that it stood out against the dirty water and was working it in between and over vegetation and letting it fall in the holes between the weeds and finally got a bite.

It was a warm day with a little breeze and stained water with a ton of vegetation. This lake is full of weeds and brush piles, so anything with a treble hook is very hard to fish. I wanted something moving, so I tied on a screw lock hook and rigged the mayor weedless. I was working it over the tops of vegetation and along the edge of some brush, and that's where I got the bite.
