Mostly main lake and just around the edges of points leading into pockets. On the main lake banks pitch as close as you can to the bank and sit in 17ft+ water. Every laydown had a little one and the Isolated laydowns had the bigger fish. Best five went around 17lbs.

Started on main lake points at 8am - 10am until the boat traffic made it impossible. Hopping the jig up the ledge got their attention. Caught a 6lber and 5 or so 4 lbers. Jig paired with a rage bug.

Tough bite but if you focus on the deeper hydrilla edges with the senko you will catch the better fish. The blue gill eaters. The Mustad alpha point series alpha-grip finesse hook 3/0 was the game changer for me.

Look for Gizzards and big threadfin up shallow. Find boulders or other shallow cover to throw the swimbait around. Bass have been blowing up on baitfish but it is spot specific.

The fish have been anywhere from 6-15 feet deep and are constantly changing. They may be there one day and gone the next but these tecniques seem to be working. Look for shad anywhere from shallow to deep. A drop shot has been effective but a spoon and a swimbait have worked as well. You might catch a bigger one on those two if the drop shot is not triggering them.
