This pre-spawn lady was in lay down, brush pile on flooded back waters on Wisconsin River (critical time of year to find big females on wood) got to be able to risk getting hung up, well worth the payoff 🤙#bass #bassfishing #kayakbassfishing

Low water levels and slow currents, soft bite, stinger hook is super helpful. Hair jig was a winner, mountains, bucktails, and kalins google eye. Caught limit and then some threw all back as they were all female. Didn’t want to keep anything before the spawn due to bad winter conditions for the walleye and extremely low water levels above the dam.
