Fished through a few hours of steady rain but caught several quality walleyes. Various swimbaits were effective, slowly reeled along 10' deep or less flats adjacent to the river channel. Bog and stumpy areas held the nicest quality fish but a couple smaller fish were holding in the weeds. Once the rain stopped so did the bite. May want to consider a light wire leader to keep the pike from stealing your favorite baits.
