The Berkley Slobberknocker has been on fire on my new Lew’s signature series bladed jig and custom pro combo. Bluegill color with dark blade in the sun and white with gold blade in the cloudy rainy days. Bouncing off rock piles as the bass are moving up along shore. Fish the wind blown shore as they chase the bait.

Whalon was ON FIRE today! Any swim jig that mimics a bluegill is what you need to catch some nice fish here. Simply find some weeds by looking for them because the water is so clear and reel the swim jig through them. I was there for 3 hours and ended up catching and releasing a 14.8 lb limit with a 4.8 lb kicker! Water was very clear with a temp of 60 degrees. Wind was 15-20mph.
