Fish were just off the flats on the breaks from the colder nights before the outing, was using live scope to locate and cast at the weed edge where I saw fish. Fish were eating on the fall and were very challenging to catch

8-12 feet of water on the weedline. Need to be around schools of sunnies on this lake it seems. Most of the bass were relating to bait, didn't seem to matter about how thick the weeds were. Drop shot leader length 10-14 inches. Shaking it in place seemed to work best
