We started to fish really shallow skipping under docks, but no go except for one smallmouth bass. This fish was in the cabbage around six feet deep with the hit and miss reeds. The fishing was not fast action, but the quality of fish was great. Wacky rigged a Yum Dinger in Green Pumpkin with a Heavy Weight VMC #4 to help get the bait down a bit faster.
