Lincoln Lake was extremely tough on this night. The summer weed growth was in full swing, and with a weekend of storms and rain, the bass were very closed mouth.. The lake seemed to much more stained than usual.. Lots of weeds floating, probably from a heavy weekend of boat traffic, wind & rain.. No 3 pounders brought in tonight.. My 5 pounder still eludes me for the year.. lots of summer left yet, there is still hope..!!!
