We worked the grass edge lines of fresh grown grass on Viking lake today to pick off some fun fish today on spinning tackle wacky rigging a roboworm in about 5-7 foot of water looking for moving fish. Fish were very aggressive and would crush the bait on the fall.

Fish are extremely active with the warming weather. They are sticking close to brush piles, submerged timber, and rocks. Squarebills and lipless crankbaits are working well, especially with reaction strikes. Once again, red and orange seem to be the pre-spawn colors of choice.
