The crappies were just starting to move in during the late afternoon warming hours. The area lakes are getting close to that magic 63 degree water temp and the crappie spawn should hit it's peak this coming weekend. Small plastics under a bobber are the best presentation. look for them in old lily pad fields and in the reeds.
