In the basin about 15 - 25 ft. Had to work for them a bit in the morning but between 12-2pm they were very aggressive where you didn’t need to tip them with spikes. Then the bite shut down. I alternated with a basic gold tungsten jig with a plastic as well.

Fished the south east side docks and near a spawning flat with access to deep water, with the sun out out skipping docs or weed edges was our best pattern. Caught a hand full small mouth from 3-1/2 lb to 1-1/2 pound, also few 2 lb large mouth too.
