Quick meat run after work. Set up in the basin and got my bobber poles out. 9-12" eaters were waiting and pretty willing to bite. There has been a lot of fishing pressure by the looks of the Swiss cheese ice out there. Very light bite and they would drop a minnow if they felt any bobber pressure. I cut my 3" foam bobbers down to just hold a split shot and a red hook with a glow bead. January 31st, no snow, 50 degrees out

Crappies and bluegills roaming the basin edges. They were keyed in on insects as they wouldn't touch a crappie minnow. The pinhead spoon was perfect for getting down quick and having a small skinny profile loaded with gulp maggots. Fishing was best in 25-30ft close to the bottom edge of the basin with fish suspended at 20ft

Deep trolling suckered, in 4 hours granddaughter caught 20 pike and 4 good sized walleye, just circling the island sized hump. All fish caught in 16-18ft of water.
