April 23rd I came to the lake with my girlfriend to do some fishing. It was a very cold morning but finally warmed up. We caught 8 bass and over 15 pickerel. The bait that did best for bigger bass was the megabass spark shad throwing it in the wind blown coves around the old lily pad stems. Our other best bait was a Texas rigged yum dinger black n blue senko and a rabid baits craw Texas rigged. It was a super fun day overall. A lot of fish were caught.
