Morning water temps from 56-58 turned fish off and off of the beds. Weed flats had empty beds and fish were nowhere to be found. Once shallow water temps reached 65-66 midday fish slowly made their way to once empty beds. Wacky rigged Berkley General cast over beds triggered bites. Bedded fish were very aggressive as long as not immediately spooked. If spooked, return to the bed after 10-15 minutes and bites are easily triggered. I broke off a fish, returned about 20 minutes and was able to catch the same fish and retrieve the broke off hook. Spawn seems to just be kicking off, later in the day will produce better once temps hit 65+.
