Could not wait to test the new Mustad Alpha point TAK-Offset 2/0 hooks. Mixed review on first outing. Caught small bass Texas rigging with 5" Senko and Stick-o worms. Hook has long shank for a 2/0 which gets hook farther down worm for easier hookup. Points are super sticky sharp (so sharp they re-hooked fish as I tried to take hook out). I had some challenges with the skin hooked worm sliding sliding back on the bend resulting in more snags and a less optimal presentation on many casts. This may be because the bottom of the hook is almost square. Look forward to trying with some different presentations.

Good bait for casting from bank. Keep it weedless with Trokar 1/0 or 2/0 wacky weedless hooks. Caught several nice largemouth.
