Fished bottom of Silver Lake and down Winnipesaukee River to the Route 93 overpass concentrating on backwater areas particularly around spawn. Work Texas-rigged 5" senko between emerging vegetation mats and shoreline bush and scattered boulders where largemouths tend to bed.

Fished bottom of Silver Lake and down Winnipesaukee River to the Route 93 overpass. Caught several smallmouth bass ranging from 10" to 20.25" working a 4" senko alternating between a weightless wacky rig and split shot, Texas rig around eddies and current seams created by subsurface boulders and rock pile ridges. This presentation works much of the throughout the late spring through early fall especially in low light conditions.
