I spent a nice cool morning chasing the fall feed bags here in Minnesota. We had our first sustained cold front come through which dropped water temps pretty significantly, especially on some of these smaller lakes, causing a lot of fish to push up shallow and start chasing bait. I focused on shallow cover, specifically laydowns, with deeper water nearby. I caught most of my fish on a Bassman Spinnerbaits TW Series Tandem spinnerbait in Chartreuse Shad (1/2 oz). For a trailer, I paired it with the Z-Man RaZor ShadZ in Pearl. Casting into the laydowns, I would get most of my bites within 3-4 turns of the handle. The fish were fairly tight to the cover, but I also caught a few fan casting in areas "near" cover.
