Pre-spawn is here! Woohoo! Water temperatures are in upper 50s to 60 degrees. Bass are starting to move up and sighting many fish shallow. For shallow fish, cast wacky rigs and weightless worms up into the trees and brush where you can find it. Lots of smaller fish up in the trees along with some larger females cruising. Many bass also stacked on ledges in deeper water and coming up and munching. Had success deeper on ned rigs as well as jigs with craw trailer. Did get some follows on chatterbait but nothing would take the chatterbait today, there was a lot of interest in it so adding as a possible bait in the list given it did get a lot of attention and chase. Adding Finesse jig that is similar to what I was using today. Things are heating up and the bass are hungry! Good luck!

Bass are still in slow transition from winter to pre-spawn. Starting to see some bass move shallow at end of the day when water warms up. Many bass are still deeper between 20 and 30 feet, hugging humps and ledges. Success using jigs with craw trailers and finesse ned rig.
