I recently fished a tournament on the St. Paul chain and I spent the whole day on round punching Mats. I started punching with a pegged 1oz tungsten weight and a 5” Big Bites Baits Trick Stick picked up a couple fish switched to a VMC Tokyo Rig with a 1oz tungsten weight and Net Baits Baby Paca Craw and that really got them fired up. Sometimes the fish would crush it on the fall and other times I would bounce it of the bottom a couple times and get a bite. When I switched to the Tokyo Rig it seemed like every fish I caught was my now the biggest fish I had in my bag. Don’t nap on Round lake and definitely don’t nap on the Tokyo Rig.
