Had strong front blow through on Friday night, fishing was a little slower than anticipated. We still did pretty good just not quite what we anticipated with the weather patterns we are having in the south.

With water in the low 50s, the fish are coming out of their winter haunts and starting to make that move to their pre-spawn staging areas. Fish are being caught all over the lake with a DT10 and a 1/2 ball head jig are catching some better fish. Key areas to look for are red clay points with rock on them. Don’t be afraid to throw that DT10 up shallow and work it slow back to the boat.
