Tough day on the water. It got very hot, very early then the rain came and completely changed the bite for us. We had several fish on in the thick pads, but we were only able to land one over 3 lbs. The bite was super spongey and not aggressive. It took over 18 lbs. to win our local club tournament. Big fish of the day was just under 6 lbs. Absolutely love the new Mustad Alpha Point Assault hooks! They really keep the bait straight and be careful, they are extremely sharp! Great product.

As the day got warmer I found most of my fish at the end of docks. The furthest ones out seem to hold them. I was tossing a Junebug Yum Dinger stick bait under them with a Shimano Spinning Reel and Rod.
