Fished pool 9 from the dam down to Blackhawk park from 4/20 - 4/24. Very difficult with so much water and fast current. Had some success with the walleyes when we found some protected water with slower current. Fished the current seam with pink jig and flat worm worked really slowly. Ended with 6 keeper walleyes and 2 saugers. Watched the river rise 2 feet over those 4 days. Still rising with a predicted peak this weekend. Lots of debris and large trees coming through. Have to be very observant if you go out. Only open launch is by the power plant. BE SAFE!!
