What great place to fish. We were looking for both large and smallmouth. Started in channels around cut banks and pockets. Did well in numbers but found it hard to get places because of the low water. It dropped from previous day. Finished the day with a chatterbait and got our biggest fish in the back of pockets. Frogs got some blow up too. Found a weed lines that gave up a couple while waiting on the lock

Water is warm enough to give those wingdams a break and go looking shallow for some largemouth. Great time to target bass pulling up on laydowns and rock walls.

I was fishing the Mississippi river while it was flooded! I got into some Walleye along with some smallmouth bass. Overall great day fishing!
