Flow on river is up from recent rains, must find proper flow. Current seams below wingdams produced on hairjigs vertical jigged.

Fishing the river I have learned to use the Dubuque Rig. Using a heavy 3/8 ounce jig on the bottom with a short lead to a three way swivel. Then tie a longer lead to a smaller jig. On the smaller jig I would use a minnow on it and a plastic twister tail on the bigger jig. Slowly slipping with the current and pounding the bottom in 20-40 FOW. Just down river from then lock and dam.
