Ensure you're straight up and down when vertical jigging as you slip down the river with the current. Mid Nov to Dec I prefer to jig very little which consists of dropping the jig down to the bottom and lifting up 6 inches off the bottom and only jigging downwards to ensure you're still within that zone. I'd recommend not jigging upwards or aggressively. Most bites will come as you're holding at 6 inches or when you go back down to check bottom and lift back up. This will vary on the day. Today we found the fish in 22-30 feet with the recommended products
