I fished Pickwick Lake April 21st-24th for the MLF Pro Circuit event. I was targeting fish that were on beds using a Favorite Rods and reel spooled up with 15lb Seaguar Smackdown and a 10lb Tatsu leader. I would neko rig the Z-Man Bangstick or Zinkerz on a 2/0 Hayabusa FPP Straight hook and work it slowly along the edges of the reeds to pick these fish off. Day 2 I also mixed in a Green Pumpkin Jackhammer to target the fry guarders that were aggressively protecting their young. Overall the water temp started out in the mid 50's in practice and rose to the low 70's by the end of the tournament. This let us see fish start in the prespawn stage and roll all the way through postspawn in a full week. Below you will find links to fish catches and video recaps of each day of this tournament: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHgjdBuKRegidJ0GIYmhI_A
