MLF BFL Pickwick lake 2/26/22 - Day 1 Results Pickwick Lake RANDY WILSON Place: 44 Catch: 2-6 Fished today with BASS Pro Justin Adkins. We launched out of Counce and fished our way all the way to Wheeler dam. Atkins had 5 fish for 15 lbs. We caught most of our fish shallow junk fishing.

Fishing deep by the dam with a drop shot was most productive. Had to mark fish and drop to them. Hard to get bites, but the quality was there.

Largemouth chasing shad on rip rap and bridge pilings. Fish are roaming and mostly keyed in on the bait around the structure. A flashy umbrella rig and underpin is a good way to cover water and find feeding fish. The flashier umbrella rig, the better.
