The smallmouth are moving shallow, chasing bait, and getting fat. Look to shallow flats and points as a good starting point and search for bait. The fish are pushing perch and feeding off any crawfish in and around rocks up shallow. Fish are schooled up in packs between 3 and 7 fish generally, so if you catch one... there are more there.
